CRON diaries: Day eleven.

Tuesday. I have ballet today, so I'm excited about that.
I woke up at noon, which at least is better than yesterday.
Had a breakfast smoothie....
Then I went outside and tanned a little bit, came in and did some yoga with Logan.

Dude, last night I made this salmon recipe that rocked my socks off.
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe-Tools/Print/Recipe.aspx?RecipeID=87497&servings=4

check it out.
haha, Idk what I'll make for tonight, I'm going to be in Tyler this afternoon, so I'll probably end up coming home to some highly fattening prepackaged meal Dad brought home, which is totally cool, he can eat it. I'm just not going to. :) I'll probably have some kale. Anyway, so far my CRON thing is going well. I'm thinking less and less about food...and when I do think about it, it's something healthy! I love this.

Still haven't found time for the needed cardio, but I'll try to make some time.
Later.

CRON diaries: Day ten.

Today I woke up WAY too late to run. :(
But I ate well, I ate oats and blackberries for breakfast (at 5 pm. LMAO)
and then I made baked salmon with pineapple and tomato salsa.
:)

then a small stawberry smoothie for dessert.
Now I have to do my THEA practice, and then clean my room, and get ready for tomorrow.
bye.

CRON diaries: Day nine.

Saturday and Sunday were big FALL OFF THE WAGON, BINGE days. :(
I drank margaritas and ate everything I wanted to and anything in sight.
So tomorrow I start over again,
I'm not giving up. I have until next Saturday to get some results.
I've decided to do elliptical for 30 mins EVERYDAY, and yoga whenever I feel like it.
:) Later.

CRON diaries: Day seven.

I didn't sleep last night. It's about 8 in the morning...and I feel pretty drained. But I'm going to press through today. I'm about to make myself a morning breakfast shake (yay, highlight of my day) with either strawberries or blackberries. :DD

***Morning berry smoothie recipe by Samantha Rufle:
1/2 a banana
4-6 strawberries
1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
1/2 - 1 cup of orange juice
1 tbsp. whey protein
1 tbsp. flax seed
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend, viola!***

Hmm, after that, I plan on doing a little ballet, and then maybe some yoga. I still need to find some form of cardio to fit into my day...like jogging, or jumping rope, or hulahooping! lol.
So yes, the yoga is nice and it is firming me up in several different places, but my stomach remains flabby. :S So, cardiovascular exercise...need it to burn calories.

The eating right plan has been working well so far. (Mom's even liking it, and seeing results already). So I plan to continue on my health trip...even if I don't get a stellar body, at least I'll live longer...maybe, nothing's for sure.

I plan to start weighing in every Saturday (today's Saturday). So...I weigh 126 lbs. My altogether goal to lose is 20 lbs. :) I hope it goes well. That means, no more snacks. I see one, I make the right choice and turn away. Grab an orange, or a small salad, or just wait until the next meal rolls around.
Today's my Uncle's birthday party...and my Dad's family is primarily country, so there will be plenty of good ole "home cooking" there to eat...which is why I'm taking a salad for myself (and Mom if she wants it). Hopefully the grandmother won't get insulted, but I cannot afford to eat the food she makes anymore. :(

BOTD: SourPatch Kids candy, a 100 calorie ice cream bar, and a few Margaritas.

CRON diaries: Day five.

Again today I had oats and brown sugar, thinking about eating an orange right now.

Idk what I'll have for lunch/dinner. I think I'm doing better about controlling my urges when eating.

And right now, I weigh 125 lbs. Losing weight the hard way...eat right, work out, struggle. :(

it's okay though, I'm feeling alright.

CRON diaries: day three.

So yesterday was day three, I woke up and did great,

CRON diaries: Day two.

11.23.09

Woke up early (fuckyes) and inhaled a bowl of oats, a cup of english breakfast tea, and ran up the road with Mom and the boys to take the GED. It lasted from 8 am to 4 pm, and now I'm completely exhausted...and I still have to go back tomorrow and finish the second half.
:S

So, I really want ravioli and a nap right now. mdr (inside joke), but instead, I'm going to stay up and go to couch-0-rama, be a little hungry, have a decent dinner, get up and do it all over again.
Maybe the GED is my start on the scheldule to proper sleeping/eating habits. Maybe, the less I sleep, the less I'll NEED to sleep. :)

So, I'm off. Have to go make some food for before we go. bye.

new feature (binge of the day)
BOTD: vanilla shake and salsa roja wrap (McDonald's hell is lovely!)

CRON diaries: Day one.

So today is March 22, 2009.
Yesterday I went kind of nuts, and threw away everything in the refrigerator that was high in calories and low in nutritional value, ie. Velveeta Cheese, processed chicken and sweets, drinks high in calories, etc.

I was actually researching what a ballerina was supposed to eat, seeing as how I'm supposed to be one of those. I figured out there's a way of eating called CRON (Calorie Restriction with Optimal Nutrition) that's supposed to help lose weight, extend longevity and keep you healthy. All I have to do is eat foods that are fewer in calories, and dense in nutrition.

So this morning I ate a bowl of raw oat oatmeal, some english breakfast tea, and a banana.

I think I'm skipping out on lunch.;)
So in my CRON diaries, I'll be including recipes sometimes. Low calorie, high nutrient recipes.

Okay so for dinner i made low cal lemon pepper chicken with roasted fennel seed and thyme baby potatoes, and a salad. It was stellar, and it tasted good, and it was moderately heathly!
(I'll insert my recipe later.)
